Our story
It started in a one-room flat, where a jar of homemade chili sat on the table at every meal. No label, no recipe card, just taste and instinct passed down over forty years.
Gu Zao La (古早辣) means old-fashioned heat: the same recipe, just bottled properly so you don't have to ask for the jar every time you visit. We still make it in small batches, a few hundred bottles at a time, because that's the only way we know how to make it taste right.

Good to know
It's built for people who already like heat, noticeably sharper than Medium, with bird's-eye chili as the dominant note. If you're unsure, start with Medium.
Standard delivery covers mainland Singapore. Offshore or restricted addresses may need a longer lead time. We'll confirm this with real courier coverage before launch.
Refrigerate after opening and use within a few weeks for best flavour. Exact shelf-life guidance will follow lab testing and SFA labeling requirements.
